STONE SOUP - a fun, 6 minute piece, shot for the National Endowment for the Arts in 2009. The conceit: food as an allegory for diversity in Los Angeles.
Production was simple - me, a camera and a microphone ( and even a pencil ), along with the many people I got to cook for me. The shoot spanned 36 hours with a cut by the end of the weekend.
Now that I'm more than a decade removed from the project, I still remember how much everyone enjoyed doing it. And eating.
